In the absence of the usual Twyning Bank Holiday festivities all is not lost!
On Monday 31st August, We still plan to hold our competitions and, with most people still with unexpected time on their hands and “stay vacations”, we are hoping that we have a bumper amount of entries.🤞
We will be using the village hall to display the entries this year and due to the current pandemic restrictions we are just accepting entries on the day. So no form filling required!
All we ask is that you bring your entries to the village hall between 09.00am and 11.00am in time for judging. Please be prepared to wait outside for a short time, as we will be limiting numbers within the hall in line with current government guidelines. No entries will be accepted after 11.00am.
Entries will be open to public viewing between 1.00pm-4.00pm (following current government guidelines), so that you can come along and see everyone’s fantastic efforts and see who challenged you to make those scones or pipped your tomatoes to the post!
Please do support us and let’s really come together as a community to make the most out of a bad situation.
